Support Staff - Permanent and Casual roles - Mangere

Nga Hau Mangere Birthing Centre is seeking support workers (revolving shift positions) at our new facility in South Auckland .

This position works principally to provide a high quality efficient service to ensure the provision of a safe clean environment for all accessing Nga Hau Birthing Centre.  This position involves a combination of cleaning duties and housekeeping tasks, and in addition you will work in a support role to the midwife providing safe quality care to women and their whanau throughout their stay.

This position is best suited to a person wishing to work as part of a team valuing and respecting women and their whanau’s informed choice for natural active birthing, and high quality postnatal care. 

Birthing Centre Limited (BCL) is committed to identifying, supporting and protecting vulnerable children.  This role is classified as a children’s worker role under the Vulnerable Children’s Act 2014.
